Updated WWE Bad Blood 2024 Match Card Predictions Before Go-Home Raw

Several top WWE rivalries are set to reach their climactic chapters at Bad Blood on Saturday night. The event, headlined by CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match, promises intense showdowns across its five-match card. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will unite as a team for the first time, while The Terror Twins face off against members of The Judgment Day in two singles contests.

WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley vs. Nia Jax

Bayley earned another shot at Nia Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship after defeating Naomi on last Friday’s SmackDown. Ever since losing the title at SummerSlam, Bayley has been determined to regain it, but this may not be her moment, especially with an emerging rivalry brewing between Jax and Tiffany Stratton, the current Money in the Bank briefcase holder.

Stratton has been a looming presence, waiting for the perfect moment to cash in her contract for a championship match. However, Jax has made her intentions clear, even physically threatening Stratton on SmackDown. With this dynamic intensifying, it seems likely that the long-term story will lead to a Jax vs. Stratton showdown. Given that, Bayley regaining the title here seems unlikely.

Prediction: Nia Jax retains, continuing a standout run that has showcased some of her best performances to date.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor

At first glance, Damian Priest appears poised for victory in his clash with Finn Bálor. A win here would solidify his momentum heading into the latter part of 2024. However, this match could also serve as a stepping stone to something bigger for both men.

There have been subtle hints of an upcoming rivalry between The Judgment Day and the Wyatt Sicks, with mysterious symbols and eerie puppets appearing in backstage vignettes. Should Priest win, he could find himself back in the World Heavyweight Championship picture, possibly reigniting his feud with Gunther. Meanwhile, Bálor and The Judgment Day could continue playing a central role in WWE’s storytelling, particularly with the looming Wyatt Sicks storyline.

Prediction: Damian Priest defeats Finn Bálor, setting up a major opportunity for his character moving forward.

Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan

With Dominik Mysterio suspended above the ring in a shark cage, Rhea Ripley will be forced to defend her Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan without her usual backup. Although Ripley seems to have the upper hand going into this match, the feud feels far from over.

At Bash in Berlin, Ripley and Priest demolished Morgan and Mysterio, but WWE’s creative team has invested significant effort into building up Morgan throughout 2024. It’s unlikely that she’ll be defeated decisively again. Expect interference or perhaps the involvement of a new player to shift the balance in Morgan’s favor, keeping the rivalry alive.

Prediction: Liv Morgan pulls off a surprise victory, continuing her feud with Ripley.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are arguably the two biggest stars in WWE today, making them an unstoppable force as a tag team. Facing The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, they should be heavy favorites to win. However, there could be more to the story.

While a dominant victory seems likely, the brewing tension between Reigns and Rhodes suggests that a loss could be the catalyst for an even bigger rift. Both superstars have their own agendas, and losing in a significant city like Atlanta, which holds meaning for both men, could escalate the drama. Even so, the storylines seem to be building toward a united front ahead of Survivor Series, where a WarGames match is rumored.

Prediction: Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat The Bloodline, setting up a massive showdown at Survivor Series.

Hell in a Cell: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

The long-standing rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will reach its brutal conclusion inside Hell in a Cell. After a year of back-and-forth, with McIntyre securing a victory at SummerSlam and Punk retaliating with a win in the Strap Match at Bash in Berlin, the two are set to settle their differences in one of WWE’s most dangerous structures.

This feud started back at the Royal Rumble when McIntyre injured Punk, derailing his WrestleMania main event plans. Punk responded by sabotaging McIntyre’s chances at the world title, leading to a deeply personal grudge match. With each man determined to leave the other bloodied and battered, this will be a violent spectacle.

Punk is expected to come out on top, with his eyes set on bigger challenges ahead. He has already teased a potential world title feud with Gunther, a direction that seems increasingly likely following Bad Blood.

Prediction: CM Punk defeats Drew McIntyre, ending their rivalry and positioning himself for a title shot against Gunther.

    1. Throughout the grand scheme of things you receive an A just for effort and hard work. Where exactly you lost me personally was first in all the specifics. You know, it is said, details make or break the argument.. And it couldn’t be much more accurate at this point. Having said that, allow me say to you what exactly did deliver the results. The text can be very convincing and this is possibly why I am taking the effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. 2nd, despite the fact that I can see the leaps in reasoning you come up with, I am not necessarily sure of how you appear to connect the details which inturn produce your conclusion. For right now I will subscribe to your position but hope in the future you actually link your dots much better.
