John Cena Confirms His Final WWE Elimination Chamber Appearance in March

John Cena, one of WWE’s biggest stars, has confirmed that he will step inside the Elimination Chamber for what he says will be his “last time ever.” The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Toronto, Canada, as part of WWE’s premium live event lineup.

Cena’s Elimination Chamber Legacy

This will mark Cena’s first appearance in the brutal Elimination Chamber match since 2018. Over his illustrious career, Cena has competed in seven Elimination Chamber matches, winning three times—in 2006, 2010, and 2011.

A Busy 2025 for John Cena

The 16-time World Champion has a packed schedule leading into his farewell year. Cena recently wrapped filming for Peacemaker Season 2 and is preparing to embark on a global retirement tour in 2025.

Earlier this month, Cena confirmed his participation in the 2025 Royal Rumble and WWE’s first-ever Netflix special, which premieres on January 6. Fans can also expect him to play a major role at WrestleMania 41 in April, making it a historic sendoff for the “Cenation Leader.”

Cena on Retirement

Cena, who made his WWE debut in 2002, announced in July 2024 that he plans to retire at the end of 2025. Reflecting on his career, he expressed gratitude to his fans and the WWE universe.

“I’m retiring in 2025. I’ll kick off my farewell tour in January and wrap it up in December. It’ll be about 36 events worldwide to thank fans for their support over the years,” Cena said.

Currently tied with Ric Flair at 16 World Championships, Cena is set to leave WWE as one of the most celebrated figures in wrestling history.

For fans, this Elimination Chamber appearance will be a rare chance to see Cena in action during his final chapter.
