John Cena has officially announced that he will be competing at the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble, marking a key moment in his highly anticipated retirement tour. Scheduled for February 1st in Indianapolis, Indiana, the event will feature Cena’s final appearance at a Royal Rumble in his legendary career.
As WWE prepares for Cena’s year-long farewell tour, fans can expect appearances across TV and Premium Live Events leading up to his ultimate retirement match in December 2025. The tour kicks off with Cena’s first stop at the premiere episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, airing January 6th.
