WWE Raw to Stay Family-Friendly as It Moves to Netflix in 2025, Confirms Nick Khan

WWE Raw is gearing up for a big change as it moves from the USA Network to Netflix on January 6, 2025. Despite the platform switch, the show will stick to its family-friendly roots, according to WWE President Nick Khan.

Speaking at a WWE press event held at Netflix Headquarters in Los Angeles on December 3, Khan addressed swirling rumors about potential changes to the show’s content rating. During an interview with Sports Illustrated, he set the record straight.

“We’re not changing the rating of our programming,” Khan said. “There’s been some talk online about it becoming R-rated, or even something more extreme like X-rated. That’s not happening. WWE Raw will remain family-friendly, multi-generational, and advertiser-friendly. That’s who we are, and that’s not changing.”

Khan hinted that fans could expect some fresh, global elements as the partnership with Netflix grows, but he emphasized that the essence of WWE Raw—appealing to viewers of all ages will stay intact.

This announcement marks the start of a major promotional push for the move to Netflix and reassures fans that WWE’s signature brand of entertainment will remain true to its roots.
