This monumental replica of the iPhone 15 Pro Max stands an impressive 6.74 feet tall and is fully functional, making it both a stunning visual and a tech marvel.

Reflecting on this achievement, Maini shared with Guinness World Records, “Growing up, I would disappear into the library for hours to read the latest Guinness World Records books. To achieve an award myself feels absolutely surreal.” He continued, “It feels like a full circle moment. I’m so proud of both our team and Matt for pulling off what’s never been done before.”

The Construction Process

The creation of the giant iPhone involved transforming a large OLED TV into a touch-sensitive display and constructing a sturdy aluminum frame to house the phone’s components. Despite the challenges posed by Apple’s closed-source iOS, the team utilized Android with a customized skin to replicate the iPhone interface, enabling the installation of apps like Flappy Bird, a feature not available on actual iPhones for nearly a decade.

Social Media Buzz

Since its unveiling, the video documenting the creation of this colossal iPhone has amassed over 2.5 million views and is trending on YouTube. Viewer reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with many applauding the meticulous craftsmanship and innovative approach. One commenter praised, “Arun did much more than just connect a phone to a bigger screen. His attention to detail won the Guinness Record. Kudos to the whole team!” Another humorously remarked, “After 1000 years, archaeologists will find this and add it to the evidence of giant humans’ existence.”
